What type of gas regulator is this?

Hi, this came with the second hand Sealey Supermig I bought recently, is it a CO2 / Argon regulator or what? I've seen some regulators as "CO2" ones, and others that are "CO2/Argon" ones.

Looks like an argon or argon/co2 one. Quite a few years old by the look of it, the flowmeter looks like it was added much more recently.
Noticed that the gauge isn't on zero even though there's no pressure there.

Can't really tell -- the important bit is the thread, which you've obscured!

Looks like argon mix as it has 3400 PSI max and a male connection. CO2 runs at about 900PSI.

It should work, but if there is any issues with it or doubts, replace it. You should be able to reuse the flowmeter though.

It's an argon/argon mix one, CO2 ones are female thread.

Yep. You can get adaptors to make them fit a female threaded CO2 bottle, but not the other way around.

Unless they're using non standard fittings (very unlikely), yes. Looks like a little aluminium bottle.
