I think you worded that badly or something because I know three people who qualified hnc in the sixes.My mentor at the Mine did his HNC in the 60's there was only 11 people in the country who completed the course and passed !!
I like the sound of the certified penetrator qualification they offer, I'm particularly keen to do the practical sessionsNot welding related, but I'm doing a IT related certification, 2 grand of my own money for the exam alone for the cert if I pass first time (and I know people who've had to do it four times). Hopefully it will be a good future investment - it'd better be, its only valid for 3 years then I have to redo it.
Just sent off my enrolment form for the car bodywork course, looking forward to it but doesn't start until April.
