What tools or suplies to bring home from 'merica

I like their cow hide welding gloves.

I found HF tools are not necessarily cheaper than what you can get at home these days, in some cases, dearer.

Now decent socks from Tractor Supply Or even Dickies socks from Target/Walmart - seem to be longer lasting than most I've tried over the years.

I thought cordless battery tools were cheaper in wallmart and other places when i went last, and as they're battery no 110v whackyness to deal with. As I'm a ryobi bitch, I also note they get new tool types a year or two in advance of their euro release too. So my suitcase is usually tinged shrek yellow to some degree.

I used to rate their leather work gloves, unfortunately I no longer get over to the US so my stock is now depleted

To be honest I would skip their tools and consumables and be looking at their work wear.
Carhartt is way cheaper out there.
Also have berne apparel, round house jeans and Duluth trading. A couple of pairs of duck cotton work trousers or overalls will last you forever. And they offer quilt, fleece and flannel lining for the winter.

Agreed, last time we were there we filled all our suitcases with old clothes, bought new stuff there removed all labels and receipts and left the old stuff there.
Bought new fishing reels and put cheap line on them etc, flat packed boxes and posted them home

I assume you've signed up for their discount newsletters and vouchers? That always gives you some good ideas for stuff you never knew you needed, have never needed up to now, quite possibly never will, but with 30% it would be silly to miss a bargain

Heading back to USA in 4 weeks time. Going to Salem MA

Will have a rental car again for a few days and try to look out for a Wilton Vice!
