True, easier since I set up the workshop with air everywhere, but the grinder is just easier....

Take out the compressor
Lie down an extension cord
Take out the plasma
Connect the ground clamp
Connect the torch
Check the consumables
connect the plasma to power
Connect the compressor to power
Start the compressor
Lie down an air hose
Connect the air hose

Actually longer than just checking.
Not everyone has everything permanently set up due to space and workshop flexibility/budget

Get yourself one of these, mount it somewhere up high like I have done and it's a doddle to pull out and plug in where you want. You've seen my workshop and it will reach out the main door from there.

Well worth the money, works very well and I've just been draping over the mill whilst I've been working on the 6x6 chassis to keep it out of the way in general use.

I've recently relocated the compressor to the blacksmiths next door and run a flexible line I had spare from spraying the house in through one of the old vent holes and plugged it into that retractable reel.

Beta high end of their catalogue.
Just buy the High end of whatever tool manufacturer you like the most and you'll be very happy with them.
I actually have Beta "grip" series developed and made for motorsport mechanics.
I'm happy with Parkside performance too I have the chisel screwdrivers set already 4 years now and they keep up wonderfully

All my electric wood working tools. I shouldn't be allowed near wood with anything sharper than a spoon.

Can't think of any tools that would really be last on my list, but there are many that can serve multi purposes. I have quite a few hammers, so I wouldn't miss having a Cobblers hammer.

Edit: Some tools are of no use in other parts of the world. An example would be my Carpenters "tweaker" bar, which I brought over from the USA, and was a great asset for adjusting twisted joists while nailing framing, but is useless here in the UK as the nominal size of timber is different.
