Hi Guys
I have been after a larger lathe than my myford,
I had hoped to get a Colchester Master, but this Bantam has come up for grabs and its got a load of tooling to go with it.
Do the Bantams suffer from anything in particular???
The seller is a tad vague, (good jobs its only 30 mins drive away) but from what info I did get from him, its the early model.
It has two speeds (so I am guessing its the 1600)
he says it has a 3HP motor running from a phase converter (not VFD)
its got the screw cutting gearbox and the rest I will need to find out tomorrow.
apart from the obvious, what else do I look for please ????
