Finished cutting and welding the steel beams for my new workshop. Had enough to do a similar one for the bloke nextdoor as well.

Got quite a few bits left over, some longish at about 1.2m, some short at about 450mm. So what kind of thing could I make with them? Too good to give to the scrap man really although you fine lot on here are welcome to any of it. The bits that don’t have a plate on either end are available. It’s 203x133x25kg universal beam.

Do I need to say.......clean suggestions only (difficult to walk with one rammed down the throat)

Heavy duty coffee table... Steel makes coffee go cold too quickly.

Some kinda hoist or gantry crane would be what I would have tried to make. But the bits seem a bit too short to really get the most out of them for that purpose. Perhaps a jib crane could be made.
