What to do/ paint this with

As above.been asked to help out tidying up the metal shed roof only hard bit it's going to get very hot and cold and don't want it blistering a year later

was told bitchumin was poss the best idea but black is cheap but will not realy go with the garden you can get green colour but very expensive any one got any ideas on what to do there must be a few price done this and know what not to do and what works thanks

Ideal place to test Epoxy primer I would have thought. It works well on narrow boats which are subject to the same temperature extremes on steel.

Can’t recommend it yet because I have not used it but there is a paint formulated for cladding, its oil based.

I'd use jotun conseal touch-up.
Available in all ral colours.

I've used it for about 5? years after being recommended on here.

Painted gates, sheds, my van , garden furniture, drain pipes.
Over galvanising, old paint, rust.
As long as it's not flaking, it seems to hold up to anything.
Certainly my drive gates, which was the first job I did with them, are as good as when I did them, 5 years ago.


It's about £45 for 5 litres, so cheaper than hammerite!

ok a few rules got to be paint ideal rolleror brush no spraying to much to get paint over every where

i dont think its that new the sides look ok so i think it will be a roller and paint the hard bits


looked in to all the above most are coming up £30 and £50

this is a touch up not a tuck up

the only proper paint is cladding or bitumastic paint anything else cracks and peels. been there done it and got the teeshirt
