Ok, so having purchased my current welder around 3 years ago, then reading up that its basically cr*p, I'm currently looking to purchase something a little better.
I have a Sealey Siegen SO771 Mini Mig currently, and the wire feed is the major problem causer, sometimes it will work, sometimes it won't, and I have always advised friends that are looking for a welder to avoid them like the plague.
So...In the market for a new welder, but confused over the choice.
Ideally, it will be able to cope with anything from 0.8mm, car body panels up to around 5mm for the current projects I've got going on. Heard good reviews about the Clarke range but being Machine Mart it still seems that they're "entry level".
Suggestions please?
