Wouldn't buy the spray gun. On the basis of already having bought one. Proper ones are much nicer, and can be bought with a nozzle size to match your compressor. Oddly the hobby Clarke spray gun is not suited well to hobby Clarke compressors. And mine sprayed blotchy too.
Rusty, talking to yourself is the first sign of madness I believe!
I've had my eye on one of those Clarke lathe/mill combos, I know they're a bit crap but still a handy bit of kit to have and good value with the VAT off. Would love a nice lathe but just haven't really got the space for a decent sized one.
Don't forget you only get the 17.5% off Clarke stuff, everything else is 10% off I think.
Those little touch-up guns are great, I have one similar to the clarke one and it's a great little gun for, well...errr....touching up
I also have a couple of cheapish SIP sprayguns, think they're both 'Sapphires' but bought several years apart they're completely different, both work well enough for me though.
Would love to try a nice spraygun out sometime, just to see how different they are from a cheap one.
