Below is something i made years ago, and am remaking -
The ends are what i was CNC'ing the other day.
Those dome nuts - i cant remember, but i have in mind that i used M6 nyloc, but what i think id rather do is just use some compound with standard stainless dome nuts (ie not nyloc) that will just go off and lock the thread.
Its not an item that needs to come apart. You get into it through the top.
...but i need somthing that does not require a load of torque to go off. Dont some of these things need the air excluded?
Basically, i just want it to go off under low to moderate torque. Too much and ill just break the wood.
Im wondering about just using epoxy resin or something, but there are a million and one loctite flavours, that one of them must be the absolute perfect one, right? (remember, has to stick stainless to standard BZP)
