What thread is this likely to be

It measures 12g on the thread gauge. It is the same diameter as a washing machine hose but a courser thread. I need something to screw on for my dehumidifier drain

My guess would be UNF but that depends on the size. If between 1" and 1. 1/2" then they are all 12tpi.

We're guessing at the OD being 3/4"BSP from what you say but no real idea until you measure it with a caliper...

The 12g marking could be meaning G1/2", 1/2" bsp, which is 11 tpi? Though Id expect it to be marked tpi not the thread its for.

3/4" is washing machine and bath tap size I can screw one of those on 1 turn but the thread is courser that that

Inch diameter but the tap flexi is 3/4 bsp as is the washing machine hose

the 3/4" nut felt like it would just rip the threads off before the rubber washer seated i had it a nearly 2 turns but it needed 4 or 5 to seat the washer
