Yeah like you say I've never found the need for a tool for that , next time I put new linings in something I may give it a go.One of those things that by the time you remember you have it and get it out of the drawer you have done it with a screwdriver/pry bar

A very useful tool. Mine had plenty of use. A damned sight easier than trying to pry the shoe into place with a screwdriver/tyre lever/bit of bar.

Ooohhh that's niceThis gem popped up on the bay of thieves so I grabbed it, spreads hgv brake shoes sets complete with springs so you can just drop them over the hub and release.
