Hello all!
I just a have a few questions about flux welding. This christmas I got a Hobart auto arc 130 for small projects around the house. I am used to working with the Lincoln Power mig with solid wire and a sheilding gas. The hobby size welder and flux wire are new to me. My projects would be on nothing more than 1/4" mild steel.
So my questions are:
1) Do any of the positions or angles change while using flux?
2) When do I use inner or outer?
3) Would it just be worth it to get a small tank?
4) Is it true that flux core is not very good for thin metal?
