Both Winchboy and I have a set each of these, not had them long but initial findings are they a great we both like the holder, but not cheap, best value has to be the halfords rangeI personally love facom 440 I find they are the most ergonomic spanners I have ever used although a little short. They are reasonably priced and the crank on the open end and semi socket on the ring end just work really well.

That style of spanner from Mac, USAG and Facom (i.e. Stanley b&d brands), are all made by Toptul - very similar designs with slight variations. These have been well reviewed exactly the same as the mac now. https://www.misterworker.com/en-gb/...special-profiles-12-pcs-285-x-se12/94013.html

Picked most of them up at car boots over the years.
@8ob has Silverline on his wallI bought a couple of the 25pc Siegen spanner sets from Halfords when they were throwing deals about, good mid range gear at an affordable price, second row up from the bottom.

Facom is my first choice. I have many.
Halfords second. The Halfords ratchet spanners I have I rate.
I personally prefer the range of Facom spanners before the new range came out as mentioned above, but that's just me.

has to be AI ,,,, or thats where all the 10mm folk loose migrate to ,,, sort of like shiny metalic homing pigeons ..@8ob has Silverline on his wall
Three 10mm tools in one photo? Witchcraft must be involved here, how are they not lost?
silverline gets some stick, but Ive an old set, and use them when I need to abuse a spanner. Had some issues getting a 30mm nut loose, 4 ft bit of box section on it on and it didn't break the ring!@8ob has Silverline on his wall
Some great recommendations, thanks all. I think I'm going to give Stahlwillie a try - not a brand I've owned before, but comments here and further research suggests they're worth a go.
I have one silverline , its very usefull for torque setting as far as it bends you know when to stopOnly a Gozunder board, wouldnt hang their tooling on the wall

I always buy Facom spanners at car boots, whenever I see them, especially 10, 13 and 17 mm spanners, you can never have enough.@8ob has Silverline on his wall
