Slide the bump stop down and grip as high up as you can get - unlikely then to be the bit that runs past the seal unless you often drive like Bo and Luke Duke . .There are no words....
No weight on the damper shaft - its just static friction in the seals - quick bursts usually do it - a long burst often gets the shaft spinning.If you crack them with the wheels still on the ground the impact gun is usually enough, same goes when you are torquing them up. The weight of the car will stop the shaft spinning.
