What size of fuse does a TelMig 130/1 require?

Hi, I've just bought a new TelMig 130/1, but it came with no fuse. Can anyone tell me what fuse to use in the plug? Cheers.

if its just a normal 13a 3 pin plug then the max you should put in is 13amp, otherwise you would need to fit a 16amp commando (the blue ones) plug and a socket on the wall
i wouldnt think a 130 amp mig wouldnt blow a 13amp fuse very often though, maybe if you are doing a lot of welding at a time

Thank you, finyuk2005. I've also been told to use a 3X fuse but that sounds too small! But the fuse is there to protect the circuit after all..

It should have a data plate on it somewhere, if it’s still legible take a picture and post it here it should have that information in it

you can always try it with a normal 13a plug and fuse in that, if it gets too hot and blows the fuse then you could think about having a 16amp socket fitted on its own fuse in your fuse box,
but you will likely be fine enough!

Can anyone tell me what fuse to use in the plug?

If it has a 13a plug then reckon use a 13A fuse and see what happens...should be fine on the lower settings.

My 200A mig runs fine on a 13A fuse even on max!
