What shade lens should i use has been asked her a few times, for those that need to know ill add this link to the BOC site which shows what shade for what amperage over welding type

As far as i can tell the symbols are the size from top to bottom are MMA/arc welding, then MIG welding (argon based gas) then MAG welding (CO2 based gas), note that on MAG welding there is no shade no till 125amps, because CO2 is demeed not suitable for low amperage welding, next one down is TIG. not sure what the ones below that are, but hopefully it helps someone decide what shade to turn there autohelmet to when welding
