what setting for flux core??

hiya guys, does anyone know what sort of setting to start off from if your using flux core wire? ive got a clarke 100en model which you can run on gas or no gas and i want to do some car panel repair work , i obviously dont want to blow holes in it so any help appreciated. cheers

never used flux core but i would imagine it to be the same as using gas. the best way to find out is to practice on similar thickness steel but remember new steel is always nice to weld

cheers for the info, ive got to do front wings and repair inner wheel arches, also rear wheel arches eventually!! i will have to start practising, cheers

Flux core is hard to use on thin material.
The argon Co2 mixes make welding thin metal more manageable.
