what regulator do i use

Hi, i'v just been given a full bottal of pub c02 but do not know what type of reg to use the bottal has a yellow top can anyone give advise please..thanks if you can or cant

I assume it has a male thread?

If so either an argo reg with an adapter (I have an adapter for sale £10 inc uk del) or an adapted argon reg (also have one of those for sale too £25 inc uk del) with a different connector or a proper co2 reg but personaly would not do that cos when you do go for proper gas you will need a new reg as co2 is a lot lower presure than proper gas & the reg will blow.

the reg needs a male connector, the gas i will be using is co2 pub as i get it for free an dont cost a penny, i know arogo is better but money decides i'm afraid.

Thats odd most co2 bottles have the male threads & you need a female reg.

my mistake the bottle was a male thread, my ex had an old reg that i had from the past still good so got that now thanks any way..
