What MIG Welder for wagon bodywork repairs

Hi,
I am looking to buy a mig welder to weld up wagon bodywork, already have arc welder for thicker stuff.

Do not want to spend a fortune as it will get little use only bodywork repairs.

Have been looking at clarke migs but am unsure.
A lot of the work will be done outside (garage to small) so will need to use an extension cable for the power.

With it being wagon bodywork I would be looking at something with a Euro-Torch then you could fit up to a 5 metre lead, to give you a larger working area/longer reach.
Minimum 230TEC within the Clarke range which has a 3 metre torch supplied as standard, but could easily be fitted with a 4 or 5 metre lead.

Remember that you can't use a gas MIG outside, not with gas anyway, I tried at the weekend on what I thought was a calm day and it was horrific.

I often use my mig outside, and dont have a problem. Although today i was doing something in the doorway and it was alittle windy and got a couple of swiss cheesers, no worries the galvanising will cover it up

Common mistake thinking that MIGs can't be used outside (leading many to buying gas-less machines for car bodywork, which really are not ideal), if the welding area is protected from any potential wind you should really not have a problem.
