Don't think it is. _Really_ hard to tell from that photo but the L5a/L6/11" has a longer neck to the tail stock and the rounded section slopes "up" to the toolpost flat rather than down.Harrison 11
Burnerd Multisize by the looksNice collet chuck on it.
Agreed. A "Mk3" roughly 1950-1956. I note it's missing the shield on the cross slide for the leadscrew as well.I’d say 50s. They stopped casting Harrison into the bed before 1960, they stopped casting Harrison into the cabinet doors by mid 60s.
Rarer than a very rare thing until the mid-50's allegedly. No induction hardened bedways sticker.
Someone has removed the original controls.I do not know the machine, but perhaps someone could comment or speculate on the implications of the Playschool (round window and square window) attributes to the left of the chuck key.
Usually. The square window, would of taken the forward/reverse control. The round window would of been DOL starter, or perhaps a coolant pump switch.I do not know the machine, but perhaps someone could comment or speculate on the implications of the Playschool (round window and square window) attributes to the left of the chuck key.
Sold for just shy of £800 in the end. Did you win it?
