I had that on a Ptouch and it was because the tape got damp.

A reset sorted it, strangely!

I bought a P Touch 60 on Ebay recently. It has a non alphabetic keyboard, so typing is slightly quicker.

I'd be interested in a cheap one for heat shrink. Anybody know if the under £20 ones are worth getting? The heat shrink cassettes cost a bit on top.

My ali express cheapo + aliexpress heatshrink cassettes combo is still working fine against the odds and advice...
I think its best saving grace is it has no battery so I run it off a usb pack when needed. So no sitting round unused for weeks then having battery issues as a result.

I want an old style Dymo that can produced embossed lettering. So much classier. At work I use a Brother of some kind.

My Uncle was in the forces all his life. He had a dymo he had 'liberated' from work and he had everything in his house labelled, just like at work!

It's made me feel a wee bit emotive as my Mum had one and seeing that made me remember the red Dymo tape she always used.
