Hi just starting out. Want to buy a mig welder, mate can supply a large bottle. Want something decent that would allow me to do most things & 'grow into it'. Want to make railings & generally fab stuff. Also what about a metal cutter wot would you suggest. want things that are more than capable rather than should do. But also don't want to waste my money. Likewise a mask wot good one would you buy. Thanks alot

Mask- Esab eyetech, a basic one is fine...
Cutting, A 5" grinder and a pile of ultrathin cutting discs, and a small bandsaw.
As for the welder, if you want trouble free, and big enough to be sensible for railgs etc, youl need to cough up for around a 200-250a machine.
What sort of budget are you on, and what sort of power do you have?
