I like the copper type of weld thru primers

Zinc is meant to be better for a lasting repair however it isn't really weld-thru. It needs to be removed in the weld area to actually weld ok.
The copper stuff seems to work as expected.

Don't know with that exact brand though

This primer is excellent, good coverage, quick drying and weld-through.
