What is this attachement called?

I've racked my brains and can't get any results on my ideas (vice jaw bender, vice jaw accessories etc.)

Anyways, it looks like a really handy attachment for a vice, so I'd quite like to get my hands on one!

Very handy bit of kit! I made some brackets the other day out of flat 3x30, about 30 didn't take long. Only thing I have found is that it will kill cheap vice screws as I have done it in the past

The photo shows it apparently bending what appears to be 3mm flat bar at least and maybe even 5mm, personally I think that is beyond it's capabilities and you would end up hanging off a lump of bar on the vice handle risking damage to vice/tool/body.

Good tool for 2mm and less though.

Agree theres no way thats going to push that into a sharp 90...poor vice would be crying out for a paramedic

It's Colin Furze using it The man *is* a mentalist... Just saw it on his latest video and thought "Got to get one of those" as I had to do some 90degree angles for a bodged bracket on the Focus the other day and all I had to hand was the vice, a big hammer, and a blowtorch. Seems to have done the trick though, the thick rubber pads now stop the clutch pipe from popping out, without causing wear on the pipe.

Ive got one, they have really strong magnets in them for gripping the vice, had mine ages,theyre excellent for forming small brackets etc. I cant be sure but think I got it from axminster tools, could be wrong it was ages ago.

I like the Stakseys version as the fingers are adjustable - which doesn't look like they can be on the axminster one.

I bought a six inch wide one one off a member on here, brilliant little bit of kit for it's size. Rated up to 2.5mm although I have successfully done a few bits of 3.2mm up to 75mm wide.

I've used mine on quite thick stuff before.
It was from Stakesy's.
It definitely does more than the 2.5mm if that's all it's rated for.
I've got a box here, folded usuing it. Dunno how thick the steel is as I've no measuring tools right here, but it's as thick as a one-pound coin.
I'll stick a shot up of it.

Cannae help with the brake but just put the callipers on a few pound coins and they're three mm thick. HTH

The fingers on mine are adjustable, I think the term for the gadget is a box and pan type folder.

Isn't box & pan where you have a lever and a moving side?

I've had one for a good few years now and still folds perfectly, the fingers are removable so you can do box & pan folds, I've bent 3mm ally in mine but think 3mm steel you would be pushing it way beyond its limits.
