Ive been in the sheds at Chinoor and Princes Risborough Train Society , all volunteers I think ! I do the odd bit of welding and pipe bending for them , its a mighty big job refurbing the rolling stock , the carriages are Huge !

This place is on the doorstep of where I grew up. Lots of history on the site. Was originally an Ironworks - Dunaskin Ironworks (biggest in Britain at one point) then a Brickworks and finished up as an NCB site for washing and grading coal.
99% of the locos and rolling stock is all of sn industrial nature. We have an ex LMS inspection saloon that was last in use by the directors of EWS. All the other rolling stock is goods vans, brake vans and coal waggons. We have 4 sidings sitting full of locos and waggons waiting their turn for restoration or a meeting with the gas axe.
