10mm sockets and spanner, gloves, glasses, calipers, tape measures...
All those too have their own life and decided to disappear hiding themselves in the last place you would ever going to seek them.
But being busy they just disappear and never see daylight again

My daughter borrowed the mini ratchet out of socket set 20years ago when she was 6. I was hoping to find in the garden like other tools she played with but not yet
If you do find it, can you have a look and see if my missing secateurs are in the same place.

As you are looking ,if you find 2 shoe boxes full of 60 years worth of photos they might be mine. Don't bother to look through them there are no " interesting " ones.If you do find it, can you have a look and see if my missing secateurs are in the same place.

Any reason to stop drinking or reduce your consumption is a good reason. More families and lives are destroyed annually through alcohol than any other thing.
Don't do that and if anyone else on here does that, seriously consider getting help. My pal Gareth does it, a disk will break on the angle grinder and he will smash it to bits in anger rather than just changing the disk. The grinder he is using at the minute is mine so he knows if he smashes it he will have to get two, one of them to replace mine and one for himself because he won't be getting my new one. He knows this and so far this tactic of mine is working.
It makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable when people behave like this and I just leave because I cannot put up with it.

What is lost though, hmmmm well this last week a pal of mine came over with really nasty Turkish shotgun, wouldn't extract, because the extractor was broken. Nobody but nobody has one and there are none to be had on backorder either. There is one in the US but no way postage José. So I decided I would make him one at the bench and took the extractor off him as a pattern. Naturally I have lost it

Mate used to do this as kids - remember him trying to start a glow engined RC car and failing - starter went one way, the car the other, followed by him jumping on it . . . that showed it of course. It still didn't start, but now needed money spending on it.
To this day, 40 odd years later, I remember that incident if I'm ever getting nowhere. frustrated with something failing to go right. I walk away. Come back later and usually spot the obvious problem.
Over my lifetime I've known two people like this, normal behaviour then a tiny thing goes wrong and they go absolutely apesh*t. Both in the motor trade actually. One would throw whatever was at hand, axle stands, hammers, anything, and if you were in the way god help you, the other one I never actually saw him lose it, but by all accounts he was the same.
Both had suffered previous serious head injuries , so maybe that could be the problem
buy these things in pairs too and both gone to the 10mm cemetry now.
