Used this on the indicator on my Omnimil and it worked a treat.Personally I'd use hylomar.
For difficult situactions and esp if u need gap filling I use a polyurethane sealant…
bit like silicone but tuffer …
plus u can still remove the parts later if u wish, it never sets like rock…
Semi soft and pliable not squishy like silicone….
i even use it to stick the soles down on my boots at the toe…u know when scuffling around they get flappy…
Or starve oil from main bearings. Ask me how I know. Many years ago when I was into mini's I fitted a centre oil pick up pipe to the sump (gearbox). I may have used too much hylomar on the engine to gearbox gasket. It must have come adrift and clogged up what was essentially saw cuts in a pipe that was plugged at the end.Hylomar never sets and its sole purpose is to keep oil inside of things.![]()

We live and learn.
Too right, I was 17. Still learning. Still, Ive been too frightened to use it sinceIncorrect use is not a fault of the product.![]()

I'd be less nervous of that than an RTV or PU!
