Not sure if you knew this but a 504 pickup was the only vehicle Peugeot ever made that came with a LSD as standard! (Unless you count the 205 T16 rally car!)

Those 504`s were a seriously good truck.
If your 4x4 is piped for air you cant beat these air jacks , very low profile with a big lift and very quick. Dont eat a lot of space, come with a decent size footplate and are very light.

My 405 Mi16x4 would disagree there.
As would the Boxer vans that came with a Quaife unit if you chose the one with off-road/heavy duty suspension.

Do you mean the dangel conversion options? theyre drivetrain conversions done by a specialist in 4x4'ing commercial and unusual vehicles who work iwth the manufacturers during development and available on quite a few peugeot and citroens. And the end result are very capable for what theyre designed for... :-

I didn't know they fitted them to the Mi16 4x4, the 2wd didn't have one! Was it front, rear or both?

out today in my A3 front wheel drive, with the trainee, as I went to back into a gateway to turn round, he was squealing "we will get stuck" ok it was about 6 inch of mud in the gateway, in and back out without spinning a wheel.
its 50% driver, 30% tyres and 20% keeping the wheels on the floor.

Yeah I had a diesel peugeot pick up for a bit , nice truck it was great loaded but empty in the snow you had to 'concentrate'..if you know what I mean....

My Delica kennel/toolcart with half a ton of tools, fuel and spares in the back is off road every day, no fancy tyres or suspension. Vid below is tame but as you can imagine this time of year it can get sticky, still gets about though if you put a bit of thought into you route.

What I was getting at is you dont need all the fancy tyres, diff locks , lift kits and toys to go off road. It gets about through all the slosh on road tyres.The only way in and out of this one was through all those ruts and mud made by our machines, entrance was down by the furthest pylon but it still made it.

But the delica DOES have difflocks - centre and rear - IIRC? Engine/gearbox adapted for off road use. off road suspension. High ground clearance.
I'm guessing it has the super select 4wd system ?
Its the van version of (IMO) the best 4x4 ever - the shogun is reputedly second only to a landrover series/defender off road, but is as comfortable on road as a normal car.
A normal car wouldn't - or would struggle a lot more.
I know what you're saying - but saying a Delica on road tyres can cope with a muddy field is NOT an argument that off road tyres are unneccessary.
A delica WITH offroad tyres could cope with practically anything

Apart from a side slope, delicias centre of gravity is somewhere around the moon. Fairly sure that's why they weren't sold direct in this country?
Its a bit like me saying here's my pickup (in happier times), it doesnt have any of the fancy toys listed either
Its coming back, experience has suggested that it is going to get a substantial cage and diff lock in one axle though.
