We desperately need an extractor fan in the bathroom. After the attempted break in we had back in the summer we are fearful of leaving the bathroom window open even when the house is occupied and we struggle with damp all winter. Water literally runs down every wall in the bathroom after a shower.
Have a few questions:
Can anyone recommend a good quality, powerful extractor for bathroom environment thats going to last?
Secondly, I presume they take the power from the bathroom light fitting? So I would need to tear the ceiling down?
Lastly, do i need a plumber or an electrician? The tiles go right up to the ceiling, can these be drilled through or will it crack them?
I have a plasterer who can put the ceiling back up.
Bearing in mind the issues I had drilling through the wall at the back of the house, i think we may need @Pete. & a diamond drilling team!
