I used to have a Defender so both me and my missus know how they handle (or don't ), the thing that made me get rid of the Defender was the seating position killed me.

you can get a kit to move the seat back and remove the bulkhead on a 90 so it's same as a 110 county gives more leg room and lifts the seat 2 inch as well

Didn’t see any Jimney’s at Kirton

Marshal had a Vitara, jacked up and on big mud tyres it managed ok, he did keep out of the ruts tho
