What diy mitre would you recommend to cut stainless tube

Hi I'm after a diy mitre saw around or up to £200, I know alot is to do wirh the cutting blade or disc but also I'm after something with a slower cutting speed can anyone help as most of the sites I've looked don't tell you the speeds

Look at getting either a bandsaw or a cold saw. Probably with your budget you'l be limited to 2nd hand machines.

I started with finding a way to reduce the speed of drill. I used the broken angle grinder found in the junkyard. By using the gear box turns slowed three times and thus have gained more power.
I did drive wheel with two pieces of boards of beech. It is very strong. To connect the wheel to the mechanism, I used squeezing nut shield the angle grinder.
Then I did a mini lathe with a drill. This is not the best solution, but I managed to equalize wheel. As the other wheel I used a 175mm wheel of the mower. It is very strong, has a ball bearing and a rubber tire.
The hole in it is 12.8 mm, screw that I managed to buy it 12 mm so I had to use cans of energy drink and fill the space. This method is great.
The wheel was a bit uneven so I did use the same method as with a wooden wheel. The frame is made of closed profile 60x20x2mm On tensioner I will not write anything because everything should be visible on the video I drive to weld the frame. Unfortunately, during my carelessness and stupidity saw broke so I decided to stop work until a new delivery.

I think your best bet in that price range is a 2nd hand 6×4 bandsaw or if you can find a good coldsaw but I think you'll struggle to find a coldsaw for that kind of money.

ive a bad habit of looking for stuff i want to build and save the videos for later that one i liked enough and had 2 spare grinders which was bust

one i wanted like that the other well its transportable

Is that the build you followed? I have a spare motor [ex vacuum cleaner, or another from a tumble drier [?]] which might be better than the drill?

yes its a 2 parter though the first video is with everything finished

right click open it in new tab open each video in its own page and read its comments as well as watch the video

also if you use opera or firefox an addon can save it onto your hard drive then if its removed you have a copy but it uses hard drive space

however for a cheap drill just buy a new cheap one

If you Look online for a Dewalt chip saw with a metal blade, they are not bad for the price- few are refurbished on eBay but you should be able to bag one for not much more over your budget ! They use a 350mm TCT blade and run about 1300 rpms ! Minimal sparks and they go trough stuff like butter !

Runs fine from a 110 box. The case it comes in is plenty strong enough to survive airline baggage - I taped over the catches to keep it shut and it made it perfectly ok.
