Did you get any welding kit from Santa this year? I managed to get some cash - so off to buy a Welding hat and maybe an auto darken mask. (Still looking for the TIG I asked for)

Portamig 185 (with an Y of Argoshield light and an Y of Argon)
Evolution Rage2 14" TCT Chopsaw
Makita 18v cordless drill
Pair of bucket seats (for future Haynes Roadster)
Plus lots of small tools (in fact I need another toolbox)

The only one from 'proper' Santa (me mum) was the Makita, everything else was an early christmas present to myself

Haven't actually opened anything from under the tree, but I have a very good idea that one of them is a fire extinguisher (Santa has obviously seen my and grinding

And as an extra special present (probably for not going midnight mass) I have woke up with the sniffles and aching like hell all over Lemsip and Drambuie at 11am, how Christmas should be

thanks matt good to see you are moving overhear i better not look for a price for that machine probably give myself heart-attack something much smaller would suit my needs

I got a jerry-can, a pair of mole grips, massive can of WD-40 and a little gas powered soldering iron with blowtorch attachment

ooh and some mig brazing wire, been lookign forward to trying that out

i got a axminster angle grinder (with a few cutting and grinding discs) which i shall be trying out tomorrow hopefully, and a wescol auto darkening helmet which i have no clue to set up lol

all i need now is a mig welder lol

i was a good boy this year, an santa rewarded me! new to this, an had no tools at all. the old man was a star an gave me bin bags of tools. g clamps, wire brushes, wet n dry, swarfega, magnets, hammers, and so much i cant be bothered to list, and even couple i never seen before.

none of its expensive or branded, cheap beginners tools but the basics are all there. ordered a makita 9554nbkd angle grinder thats in the post, an my clarke 160tm, get that in the new year......

roll on 2009, hope its a good year for all.
