What connectors can I get?

Got a minor job repairing a movie projector. Lamp connector block has disintegrated I suppose with heat and old age. So I thought if I got a MR16 lamp holder that it would sort the problem but I was wrong because with it in place it is too bulky and I can't get the projector cover back on.
Could someone tell me what kind of connecter/s I would need to get? I would think a couple of L shape push on connectors but I really don't know what to look or ask for .
Lamp is 12v, and can be turned so the pins are horizontal.

They run hot, so you might end up with dry joints.

The pins of some of these types of bulb don't seem to take solder very well.

just fitted some new bedside/wall reading lamps...same bulb but the ceramic holder was flat/oval....same pins....the lamps were 5 euros on offer..
might find someting in the damaged section of B+Q

I think MR16 is the size/shape of the bulb not the prongs at the back. I think the connector is GU5.3 The other common connector in this same size bulb is GU10 so that might give an alternative back end to which you can connect.

Measure the pin size (diameter) with some calipers and we can look for slimmer individual connectors.

Edit: don't bother, found it 1.5mm diameter pins:

As a last resort if you cannot find the correct connector. Get a small piece what's usually called choc block strip, the sort of thing that has small brass terminals with two screws and housed in a nylon strip. Cut out two of the brass bits and use one on each pin to connect the wire.

Think I might have found the problem, the lamp that is in is 50w MR16, it should be 100w projector/ disco lamp. have ordered one off the bay and hope it may be shorter and give more connection space. Will let you know how I get on when it arrives.

That one looks the same as the one I got, but thanks, think the wrong bulb is the problem.

AHH ok, I had to order a bulb recently, 24v was needed by a microscope light box. It was expensive. 12v one popped pretty quick.

With the correct lamp and the spring clip removed from the MR16 lamp holder the cover fits.
Connector won't get off the bulb as the cover holds it in place.
