What chop saw blade

I recently got myself a 355mm sealey chop saw and am pretty happy with it. I just got done making panels for my shed and have made fair amount of cuts with it but the blade has went blunt. I think you can get the blades sharpened but I thought I was ask people on here weather I should invest in a more expensive blade like one of the evolution ones. Will they last longer I though the blade that came with the chop saw went blunt pretty fast

What do you use band saw?

now i do, wish i'd got one from the off, you really need one with hydralic damper and suds ( more expensive i know but worth it )

i think these high speed TCT cut off saws suffer from vibration killing the blade, i'm not sure tho, fair play they cut well with a new blade but the blades are just to expensive and short lived imo,

slideing miter rage saw was about 100 quid and in a long weekend of heavy hobby metal bashing the 2nd blade was about done got some diffrent blades and it done the same so spent moe on blades than the saw. picked up a 2nd hand axminster bandsaw for 360 quid it's cut a lot more and still on its 1st band ( that costs less than an evolution TCT blade ) and it's quiet

The raptor evolution tct blade lasts me quite a while before needing to be changed ...
You just let the saw cut and not force it.

I haven't cut much solid but plenty of 3/4/5mm box section.

I've only just bought the saw so I'm stuck with it for a while. I will try the raptor blade and definitely let the saw do the cutting from now on I was giving it a bit if force :/

Make sure things are clamped down properly too .. blades are easily damaged if the part comes loose.
