Motorcycle owners handbooks told you how to set the tappets, change oils and adjust the chain. Now they tell you not to drink the battery acid.
The century of the offended snowflake?
I had an owners manual for a 1935 Morris 8, it told you all about how to strip the engine, fit the pistons etc, then you looked up how to time the ignition & it said “this is beyond the scope of most owners, take it to the Morris dealer” I could never quite fathom that one out.Motorcycle owners handbooks told you how to set the tappets, change oils and adjust the chain. I couldn't do heart surgery,
I've got / had kids and I wouldn't trust ans 8 year old with ANYTHING !!I've never had kids but not sure I would trust an 8 year old with a 2KW heat gun.... perhaps kids are smarter these days![]()
Got 18, 28, 38 etc yr olds at work I still wouldn't trust with anything!I've got / had kids and I wouldn't trust ans 8 year old with ANYTHING !!
From what I remember from older motorcyclists that when you bought a Norton International the handbook stated that as you were assumed to be a competent rider very little was explained and only the spec was given. Spoke to no 2 daughter earlier and was informed that her 911 driving hubby was waiting for lockdown to end so he could take his PUSH BIKE for a service. FFS! Didn't take the bate.Motorcycle owners handbooks told you how to set the tappets, change oils and adjust the chain. Now they tell you not to drink the battery acid.
