Looks like a Vauxhall Cresta to me.

Vauxhall Cresta. Initially I thought a Velox but they only came in monotone paintwork with Cresta being two tone.

I was going to suggest a Cresta as our next door neighbour having one and my Dad saying it was crap. My Dad had a big Ford....it began with E and the spare wheel was where the radiator should be

I remember getting a lift from a family friend in a Cresta when they first came out, Seemed like riding in a space ship compared to other current makes, Remember the corners of the wrap around windscreen stuck out a lot into the door opening when climbing in, I think it was around 1955

Local garage used to run two as taxis in the 50s. Think that they were 6-cylinder with a three speed manual transmission with the change lever behind the steering wheel. Believe there was a Hydroglide automatic transmission option.

Hi, It's a Cresta because of the three piece rear screen, the Velox one was one piece. Because of the wrap around front screen the frame for it projected into the door opening they were notorious for knee-capping the inattentive.

The Ford with the spare wheel in front of the radiator was a Mk4 Ford Zodiac Executive.

a mate had a later PB Cresta 3.3 litre with three speed manual transmission,. it would go to eighty in second. Who needs fancy six speed gearboxes when you have a big torquey engine?

I remember my mates dad having one and you could get about 5 people on the front bench seat. If you were driving and cornered a bit quickly you had to hang on tight to the steering wheel otherwise you ended up in the passenger side!

I like the mk4 zodiac..massive car.with a lot of chrome trim on the executive.

Owner of a small factory I worked at one summer vac had a Friary Estate version. Ungainly looking thing, but the fastest car I had driven up to then. He claimed it had a replacement/modified cylinder head and carburation setup - SUs I think. Would it have been Raymond Mays, or was his stuff for Ford? Certainly 'three on the tree', but did it have overdrive or is my memory playing me false?
