I managed a 10 ton ex fire service trolley jack in a Volvo 940 estate, the jacking handle was half an inch from touching the windscreen, wrapped in a towel, the business end was touching the rear door.

To say I drove incredibly carefully, is an understatement.

bought a norton dominator fetched that home laid on it's side in a mini traveller/van that took some getting in and out with me sitting in the back next to it as front passenger seat had to come out so bike could be pushed up as far as possible even then rear doors had to be tied up got home eventually

About a decade ago I took the rear seats and front passenger seat out of a mk1 clio at put a full bathroom set in it, 1700mm bath down the left side and a toilet and sink behind the drivers seat.

Once saw someone shatter their rear window, when they ran too close to a sign post, doing that trick.
