That's what I love about this place, in 30 years I've only ever heard them called speed clips. I never knew they had so many names!

Hi,
I know them as 'J nuts', 'U nuts' or speed clips.
I usually buy them in an assorted box with acme bolts.
I had never heard them being called spire clips so iv learned something today!

Hot Rodder is correct, always referred to as Spire clips or even spire nuts.
