What are people's tried and tested or keep away from thoughs on cheap cutting discs?

I took advantage of that offer , well happy not put the grinder thru it's paces but the grinder will probably just used for the flap discs . Not seen the extra guard before but it just clips on / off easily

Not much good for use in the states tho

Always blue spot 1mm stainless slitting discs for me, great performance on mild steel...

Don't buy CraftRight! I once purchased a 10 pack of 125 mm cutoff disks that disintergrated after 10 to 30 seconds of cutting.
I tried three, all with the same result, then threw the rest in the bin before I go speared by a chunk of flying cutting disk.
