What are 16mm bore cutting discs used for?

My angle grinder takes 22mm bore discs, my cut off saw takes 10mm. What takes 16mm discs? I ordered some by mistake :/

A 22mm shaft won't go though a 16mm bore cutting disc, so a spacer won't work, if your now talking about machining "An Adaptor" now that's a totally different kettle of fish.....

That's exactly what I meant - not had any sleep tonight [it being Fri and hospital prescribed tablets do that every week ]

While I'm in 'non-sensible' mode, would a simple spacer work on the OP's cut off saw which takes 10mm?

Going to take a leaf out of @The_Yellow_Ardvark's book and have COFFEE!!!

I don't see why not it all depends on the rpm speed of the 10mm shaft, abrasive disc's can and do tend to explode when spun much above their rated rpm/diameter ratio.

Since 16mm or 5/8 is a standard size for woodwork table saws (small ones), I wonder if they are for a tile saw?

They are for 4inch grinders as I said previously.

4 inch grinders used to be quite common but then 4 1/2 took over, looks like 5" may do the same.
