If petrol keeps going the way it is we will all be needing electric cars .So what are you saying? Do I need an electric car too?
I don't think I can afford this place any longer.

Yes but, will they be cordless too?
The DCG405N with three 5Ah battery's and a fast charger gives me more than enough grinderbility <<<(new word alert) than i ever needWell bloody @Hood has cost me again! After reading @roofman s post that he thought the Dewalt DCG405N was the best angle grinder he had used I ordered one as I have a lot of Fab work to do over the next couple of weeks and corded tools are a big hassle. So then I saw Robin's post that the Flexvolt grinder was better than anything he had ever used I started to research those, the price is right up there and I started to rationalise, using the tried and tested system of Bloke logic. The Flexvolt grinder is £225 BUT I had already spent £110 on the 18volt grinder, so if I cancelled that order then the Flexvolt grinder was £225 minus £110 so really only £115 right? So I saved £110,this insane system of maths worked for me on this one occasion but I strongly suggest you use your own methods of rationalisation and do not follow my lead. It's all Robin's fault anyway!
My last count on 4 1/2 inch grinders was over 24 ,,, but I dont own a cordless one yet , they are mighty handy and I really would like a couple , but if Im welding theres electric there so I dont need a cordless , just want one. [ I dont like swapping discs before anyone asks , and work in three or four workshops as well]In my van I keep 2x 9" one with cutting disc and one with grinding. 2x 5" one cutting one grinding and 3x 4 1/2" one grinding one cutting and one flap disc, All 240v and a 18v 5" cordless Bosch. In the workshop I have a 9" about 5x 4 1/2" a couple of air grinders 5" and 7" and another 9" and 4 1/2" in 110v for certain site's. Bosch DeWalt metabo Hitachi and several cheap ones.
Now Id really like a cordless ,,, must stop reading this forum.
