What Air Compressor Is Good These Days?

I've had one of these 50L "silent" compressors for a few years. It's really good for most stuff, runs my ½" impact guns, air ratchets, etc.



Obviously you can empty it pretty quick but it's a nice little machine. I did adjust the cut-off to bump up the pressure a bit which has helped.

"Super silent" is a bit of a stretch, it's quiet and unobtrusive but definitely not silent. When i need more volume i have a much bigger 200L compressor, but it's rare i need it.

Which would be the better option between these 2?
The 1st is quiet and has a higher cfm and is oil free and lighter.
The 2nd is belt driven and oil lubricated.
Maybe @bourbon could advise?

Both sell well. We were amazed at how quite the shhh was. It has slightly higher CFM as @iNf has stated. Reading the Manuals, (we get bored sometimes) The shhh had more involved maintenance. But we haven't had any of both listed returned as faulty. Which has to tell you something.

How much are we talking about for these, what did the HW16 cost roughly if you don't mind me asking?

You'd be best of calling them, I have no idea - mine cost I think about 8 or 9 hundred but that was a long time ago.
