What a great community on this forum

I don't post very often - I don't weld much.
But inspired by some of the recent posts, typical of those posted here in general, I'd just like to say what a great community this is.
There always appears to be someone here who knows the answer - not just welding, but all sorts of things.
Also a 'big-up' (apparently - it's trendy for thanks) to the owners & moderators for keeping it so.

It's a great forum, so many friendly and knowledgeable folk. I have been hugely impressed by the sympathy and support offered to members going through tough times or ill health and the knowledge and breadth of experience of the regulars never ceases to amaze me.

Credit where it is due, the BIG experts here are always willing to chip in to help us numpties when we ask dim questions and they don't talk down to us. Don't see much willy waving or Ego trips on here. Rare on a bulletin board!

I originally came here for some advice on mig welding and welder I had now I have lots of expensive tools I didn't even know about before i joined here and got a shopping/wish list longer then my arm

agree with all the above,as for new/replacement workshop kit the good thing is you get solid grounded advice on what is best for what YOU need rather than what you think you want if you ask the right questions. a big thankyou to all contributors as far as I am concerned, Arther
