My bench grinder was left out in the rain.
Having brought it back into the garage, blown it through with compressed and left it a few days, it tripped the breaker when I tried to use it. Not instantly but after a few seconds.
I snuck it indoors and hid it in the airing cupboard for a few days before being caught.
Not having a Megger or the knowledge to use one even if I did, I checked the resistance between earth and live and neutral connections at the plug.
Reading was >900kOhms.
Plugged it in, ran it for c. 10seconds and it seemed to run fine and didn't trip the breaker.
Anything else I should do before using it normally?
