Having a bit of trouble (oh Betty) with my regulators. The ol Wescol is leaking gas so I took it to bits to see why. The diaphragm looks ok, spring etc, there was a small crack in the black plastic hat that sits on the spring but can't see how it sealed. The screw compressed diaphragm that pushed a valve but can't see how it would have sealed?
I think the black plastic hat goes at bottom, small spring, valve then screw. How is that pass through hole supposed to get sealed without something rubber?
