I’ve never had an expensive pair of wellies and doubt I ever will which is probably why I can agree almost completely with the above.Dunlop acifort wellies you can't go wrong. Inexpensive,hard wearing, excellent grip and comfortable, more so with an insole. Oh and steel toes. Highly recommended. Cost around 30ish quid.
I wear wellies pretty much all day every work day and have never felt the need to go beyond the cheapest pair of Dunlop aciforts I can find. They were 15 quid at screwfix last time and they make an excellent slapping noise when you wear them in shorts!
Say no to steel toes which seem like a waste of time unless you get chainsaw ones.
Bloke I work for pays extra for unlined dairy jobbies which allow you to mop them out after a critical incident or on hot days which can be a bonus, but then you’re unlikely to encounter the back end of a cow while washing your car!
