I was expecting a pic of a puppy . That looks in great nick but I'm surprised it works off a 13A plug. We'll be expecting a video of it action, you realise.

It's an elliot 10m complete with it's own ram mounted snap on led torch!! don't switch it on with those wheels [unless you can lift them up] or it might waltz around the workshop, previous owner painted mine with hammerite, looks pants but as you say makes a superb finish.

I.ve got the same machine. Rarely use it , drag it out occasionally with a view to selling it.
Plug it in and once I've fell in love with the hypnotic rhythm all over again there is no way I can bare to part with it

Oh, sorry, I nearly nodded off there - that noise is almost hypnotic.

Excuse my ignorance, but it looks like the tool is cutting on the back stroke - I'd have expected the forward one to be the one to produce the lovely curly swarf we sometimes see.

If you look closely you'll see that the swarf is on the right hand side, i.e. cutting on the forward stroke.

Here's my effort. It had sound for the first week after upload, but then googles algorythmns "optimised" it so now its silent mostly.

That was what I thought, but perhaps didn't explain clearly enough .
