I realise my previous post is not very helpfull.
As has been said you need to get the DNO to replace the incoming metal fuse box and ask them to fit an isolator at the same time.
The unmetered MICR cable is an issue, its only protection is the main fuse, what is at the other end of it, there is also the issue of what earthing is provided at the greenhouse. The DNO may want to prosecute you for extraction. Removing prior to the DNO changing the fuse box is an issue as messing with the old metal fuse box could be dangerous apart from being illegal. Personally I would not touch it, others might.
It is not clear from the photos where your earth is connected, if it is a PME earth (Green and Yellow) it should be connected to the neutral block. It looks as if a wire has been cut off from this. But it may also be a TT supply where you should have a separate earth rod and an RCD or an old ELCB. A lot of the bonding looks recent.
What is the red label on the side of the metal fuse box?
While the rest looks messy it may not be dangerous, it would need testing to verify. I still have an old Wylex fuse box in my house but it is front ended by a separate RCD. There is nothing wrong with fuses, they are death or glory, whereas I have known MCBs not to trip and the main supplier fuse has gone instead
As you have been renting it out the agents should have supplied an electrical inspection report to the tenant, this is a legal requirement. The agents you have used should have a copy of this and the electrician who did it should keep a copy for, from memory, at least five years. You need to chase them up to get a copy.
