no it isnt ive had a hernia operation earlier in year and riving around on jobs has knacked it all ready tennis and golfers elbow pulling large armoured cables . u must have had an easy paper round if your fit . after 42 years on sites u wouldnt be

Yep. I'm on 150mg of Diclofenac a day, and that's not enough a few days of the week

That's not many when I was shopfitting I would regularly do over 80-90hours a week, (in my 20s I wasn't caring at £10ph (SE) in the early 80s, oop' north.)

Longest continual time on job 31.5hrs 10 of those driving to and from job.

I managed my work/personal lifestyle in a positive way, when I not was working, or doing a homer, I was driving my boat, diving various parts of the world as safety diver for film unit. I also got out the game to be self employed in a non engineering business.

To be able to do this though, I did the mega hours, on/off site, crawled along top of new reacters at Torness Nuke station, plus other new build units.

I guess I was just smarter, or fitter than you??

Ps, I should add, my work experience open doors to my current job (teaching 18+ year) They came to me, I never applied........go figure........
